AWARDED NABH ACCREDITATION

 

Vision Live/Greater Noida 

The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar (UP) is an autonomous tertiary care teaching medical institute established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It has started MBBS course for 100 students since 01 Aug 2019 and Post graduate courses in clinical specialties since 2020 though National Board of Examinations, College of Nursing for 60 students in 2021 and Paramedical school for 60 students in 2021.

The vision of GIMS to be a centre of excellence in “Patient care, Medical education and biomedical research” GIMS is striving hard to axhieve excellence in all the field. In this direction, GIMS has modified its infrastructure more patient friendly, made SOPs for optimal patient care, trained its faculty and staff  in providing state of art medical care and finally applied for NABH Accreditation to QCI in Feb 2023.

On 28^th July, 2023 GIMS received approval for certification of NABH Accreditation for entry level by the Quality Council of India. It is a milestone in Hospital journey towards excellence which ensures that hospital maintains all essential clinical and non clinical practices for care and safety. It is the first step towards quality awareness and capacity building. GIMS will continue and keep up the quality work for better healthcare service. The inspection was held on 13^th April, 2023.
