A Team of Special Cell SR led by Insp. Pawan Kumar supervised by ACP Ved Parkash has arrested a notorious absconding /rewardee Mewati criminal namely Tarsum (35 Years) s/o Manam r/o Village Mathepur, PO Chhaynsa, PS Hathin, Distt. Palwal, Haryana. He was arrested from Shalimar Dhaba Vill.
INFORMATION AND OPERATION
There was an information with Special Cell/SR about movements of Tarsum. After efforts of more than three months, a specific information was received by the team of Insp. Pawan Kumar about the location of accused Tarsum in the area of Madhya Pradesh somewhere. A team was sent to Madhya Pradesh from where accused Tarsum was finally nabbed on 02.03.2024.
Brief facts of the above theft case are that on 17.10.2023, one Amarjeet Singh r/o Paschim Vihar, Delhi complained that he is transporter. He is the owner of truck No RJ-14GH-8999. On 13.10.2023 his truck driver (Tarsum) departed from Nangli, Poona, Delhi with his truck loaded with Areca Nuts of a cost about 75 Lakhs. The goods in the truck were to be delivered at Karnataka. But Tarsum along with his associates robbed the truck loaded with Areca Nuts. A case in this regard was registered at PS Mayur Vihar, Delhi.
One co-accused Adil was earlier arrested in this case. A reward of Rs. 50 thousand was declared on the information leading to arrest of Tarsum by Delhi Police.
Background & Criminal History
Tarsum is an active member of Mewati based interstate Robber/Burglars. Tarsum came in contact with Mewati gang through his associate Adil. Adil was previously involved in a number of cases of robbery/burglary.
